The Girlfriend Compliment

Truth.

Whenever someone sees a picture of my girlfriend and says something along the lines of “ah she’s cute” or “oh she’s pretty”, I usually say “thanks” in secretive subtle triumph and elation. I feel as if it is more of a compliment to me than it is a compliment to my cute girlfriend.

Every guy knows “ah, she’s cute” means “ah, nice work”.
